In 2021 at the UN Security Council, climate change was described as “the biggest threat modern humans have ever faced”. Leaders spoke of storms, floods, and rising oceans eroding international peace, leading to societal collapse, extreme inequality, and millions of climate refugees. The Paris Agreement set out a critical 1.5°C benchmark for maximum global warming, and recent forecasts show there is a 44% chance this will be met within five years. Net zero must be achieved before 2050, and we plan to be a vital part of that ambition.

This decade, two-thirds of new energy capacity will be in developing markets, where communication inefficiencies are most prevalent. Meanwhile, burning fossil fuels accounts for 74% of greenhouse emissions. It is therefore critical to fulfil as much of this new capacity demand as possible via renewables.

PF Nexus believes technology will prove to be the key to averting disaster. By reducing communication inefficiencies and cutting process bottlenecks, while unlocking international investment from nations with an abundance of capital, we will help bring together the pieces of this puzzle to drive a better future for everybody. We aim to play a key part in bridging the funding gap in the way of better, greener infrastructure.
